Journeyman Electrician

 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Experience in cutting & threading rigid conduit
  • Experience in bending & assembling conduit runs
  • Troubleshooting electrical problems
  • Read and interpreting engineered construction drawings
  • Pulling wire & cable, terminating and labelling
  • Bonding & Grounding systems and equipment
  • Install Cable Tray systems
  • Connecting power cables to all types of equipment
  • Testing continuity of wires
  • Megger power cables
  • Panel and Control box wiring
  • Lead and mentor apprentices


Experience & Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License
  • 3+ years experience in electrical construction
  • TX License preferred
  • Have high school diplomas or GED equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record

Apprentice Electrician

 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting Journeyman and Master Electricians
  • Willingness to learn and understand processes
  • General tasks include material handling, assisting in conduit installs, cable tray systems, grounding, pulling wires and practicing safe work at all times


Experience & Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Apprentice License
  • Have high school diplomas or GED equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have own tools

Project Coordinator

  Duties & Responsibilities

  • Liaison between estimator, construction manager, project manager, and subcontractors
  • Assist and coordinates all material procurement for Project team
  • Helps track meeting standard customer requirements
  • Create and submit daily timesheets for field personnel 
  • Create and issue Purchase Orders
  • Setup new vendor accounts as required
  • Track and maintain records of safety documentation 
  • Perform general administrative duties related to the project
  • Help with creating job postings and onboarding team members and subcontractors
  • Assist Project manager in creating and submitting progressive invoicing for jobs
  • Assist accounting in tracking invoices related to the job
  • Assist and create Progress & Productivity reports 
  • Manage subcontractor insurance and registration needs and processes
  • Assist PM in tracking safety metrics and measure KPI’s for monthly reporting
  • MUST be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is encouraged
  • QuickBooks experience in a plus
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with customers, teams and other


Experience & Requirements

  • Must hold a high school diploma 
  • A Bachelor is a plus
  • Must be a US citizen and hold a valid driver’s license

Project Manager

Description

The project manager’s responsibility is overseeing all aspects of a specific project or several projects for which they are assigned to. The project manager will act as a bridge between the upper management and the field personnel. This position will embrace the responsibility of managing the project financials from a construction standpoint. The project manager will oversee safety, budget, tracking, manpower, purchasing and schedule. They will be responsible for ensuring all documentation is done correctly and efficiently to ensure the project’s success. The ideal candidate will have strong construction experience in electrical and instrumentation. They must possess a high skill level in developing and overseeing work plans and will also prepare and present updates regularly to senior management and to the customers. 


Responsibilities

  

  • Lead and manage electrical projects from pre-construction to project close out. 
  • Ensure and adherence to project RFP, drawings, schedule, and budget.
  • Project cost review, reporting, updating, and accounting.
  • Create and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and procurement activities, ensuring optimal utilization of available resources.
  • Manage all sub-contractors (including contract setup, rates & schedules, etc.)
  • Planning and directing work to maintain continuous production and progress.
  • Forecasting labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, general expenses, etc. 
  • Complete site visits and pre-construction meetings
  • Monitor/document job site safety and accident prevention
  • RFI and Change Order management. Extremely important the PM is on top of this.
  • Electrical, Mechanical, and General Construction coordination
  • Ensure billing / invoicing is submitted on time and as per project contract. 
  • Review of subcontractor applications for payment
  • Participation in/documentation of project coordination meetings
  • Supervision/coordination of subcontractors’ field installations
  • Ensure As-Built plans are completed.
  • Quality control and project closeout
  • Daily reports to customer and Sr. Management (as required)
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing, assessing, and mitigating risks.
  • Daily project progress tracking and reporting 
  • Overseeing all field staff
  • Involved in Pre-Construction activities and working directly with Pre-Construction team.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
  • Strong Communication is must. Communication with internal team, other crafts, customers, inspectors, vendors, etc. 


Requirements

  

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management and/or related construction management.
  • 10+ years of electrical & instrumentation field experience.
  • 5+ years in oil & gas / industrial construction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, Outlook, and Word is a MUST.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes and tools
  • Multi-project execution experience.
  • Team first attitude applying leadership by example.
  • Driver’s License


Preferred

  

  • Master or Journeyman Electrical License
  • PMP Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree
